The Real Bentley
The real-life inspiration for the hero of the Bentley Book Series is a 3-year-old Chihuahua named after Bentley's House of Coffee & Tea in Tucson, Arizona, where, as a 6-week-old puppy, he met his family. While the stories in the Bentley Book Series are fictional, they do include actual locations, community organizations, and, in some instances, true events. Nevertheless, the model for the stories' main character does have a life of his own away from the literary spotlight, as can be
seen in a peek at what Bentley is up to in his spare time.

Mom and Me: Angela Anspach is my terrific mom. She is a college student who is planning on becoming established in a career.

Family Album: With mom and me are Great-Grandpa Virgil Falkner, Uncle Brian Anspach and his wife, Aunt Julie Anspach.
|
Me at 6-weeks: My mom Angela had to hand-feed and bottle-feed me after I was rejected by my birth mom. Angela raised me great!
|

A Shoulder to Nap On: Uncle Brian's shoulder is just the right size for a sleepy puppy, which I was in this photo. Brian is a true buddy of mine.
